The primary consumer is a car owner. But it is not enough to only own a car, there are other factors to be considered. From a survey of over 100 car owners, the consumer can be segmented into two profiles:
Sitting in a cubicle typing away, or listening in on a meeting in front of their computer at home. They are the 9-5ers, the career-driven professionals who work as hard as they have fun.
The backbone of every economy. They buy, sell, and buy again only to sell. They have a can-do attitude and their doggedness, time management, and discipline make them unique. They are The Entrepreneurs.
There are a lot of things that the consumer wants:
A common denominator among all the wants of the consumer is to feel good, regardless of what they are doing. A successful career or business will make them feel good. Being revered by their friends, family, and the public will definitely cause dopamine hits.
In an ideal setting, everyone would get what they want, but that wouldn’t make for an interesting life. The consumer won’t always get what they want; problems always abound.
Every story needs a villain. And in true cinematic fashion, we will be tackling the problems the consumer faces by designating a villain. The villain in this story is time… or lack thereof.
Effective use of time reduces stress and ensures career or business success. A lack of time, however, leads to conflict on more than one level.
